To close out our fall sports season polls, we're asking you to name your best female athlete. Here are your candidates:

Emily Burns (Guilderland cross country) -- Helped the Lady Dutch become a force in the Suburban Council and earn a bid to the Nike Team Nationals New York regional.

Jessica Capone (Guilderland soccer) -- Led the Lady Dutch to their first Section II Class AA title with a team-high 17 goals and eight assists.

Katie Nickles (Bethlehem soccer) -- The senior goaltender capped her career with a .930 save percentage and 10 shutouts in leading the Lady Eagles to their fifth consecutive Sectional championship game.

Tara Teal (Bethlehem soccer) -- Provided most of the Lady Eagles' offense this season with 23 goals.
